CQC Covid-19 Emergency Support Framework

Covid-19 Emergency Support Framework

At the beginning of the Covid-19 outbreak the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who regulate Adult Social care in England, assessed care homes for their ability to manage infection control during this unprecedented period.

This was an over the phone assessment and its objective was to guide and support care homes, who like the rest of the country were struggling to come to terms with the virus.

The assessment resulted in a short overview of the care home’s infection control success.  Care homes have the opportunity to add their report to their care profiles on Autumna.co.uk.

For care providers, the CQC has a dedicated Covid-19 guidelines section and this useful FAQ section answering key questions relating to providing care during the Covid-19 pandemic.
